In-person counselling, Mission BC

In-person therapy takes place at Evoke Wellness Centre, a beautiful multidisciplinary practice in the heart of downtown Mission. You’ll be greeted by the caring faces of the administrative staff and invited into a private and comfortable counselling room.

Virtual counselling, across BC

55 minutes, $135

For various reasons, in-person services may not be the best or most accessible fit for all clients. I’m pleased to offer virtual therapy to clients anywhere in BC to meet client needs (or to pivot when someone is under the weather!).

Walk and talk thearpy, Mission BC

55 minutes, $135

Walk and talk therapy in Mission BC enables clients to engage in movement while accessing counselling. Fresh air and exposure to nature can contribute to reduction of stress and anxiety and promotes wellbeing.

 

Insurance

Numerous extended health plans, such as Pacific Blue Cross, Greenshield, and SunLife cover counselling expenses provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Evoke Wellness Centre offers direct billing to participating extended health plans, but is unable to confirm coverage prior to appointments. Some providers offer coverage for counselling expenses but require plan members to submit receipts for reimbursement. It is highly advisable to contact your plan provider to confirm coverage details and understand any annual financial limits. Often, the informational materials provided to plan members can be incomplete or unclear.

Here are some recommended questions to ask when checking your coverage with your provider:

  • Do my benefits include coverage for sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)?

  • What mental health benefits are available to me?

  • What is the coverage amount per counselling session?

  • How many counselling sessions does my plan cover per year?

  • Is approval or a referral necessary from my primary care physician/doctor?

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Your appointment time is reserved just for you!

48 hours notice is required for cancellation.

Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice will be charged a fee of $50. Full session fee will be charged for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
